Food Safe Modern Kintsugi Workshop - it’s finally here! After extensive research, testing and experiments, we are thrilled to offer the world's first modern kintsugi with a food-safe option, allowing you to fix your broken mugs, plates, and bowls and reuse them for your favorite drinks and food. Don't miss this amazing opportunity to learn this ancient art form with a practical, modern twist. Say goodbye to chipped and cracked dishes and hello to a beautiful, food-safe fix. This is an exceptional experience, likely one of the only studio in the world offering this depth of instruction in such a short period. What is included in your 3hr beginner's workshop: 1) An introduction to the history of Kintsugi, how Kintsugi teaches us sustainability and why Kintsugi is considered a healing art. 2) 1 Japanese ceramic of your choice. 3) Full art materials to conduct modern food safe Kintsugi healing. Please note that the art materials can’t be taken back home. Purely for use in the studio only. 4) Free flow of Japanese Green Tea. 5) Beautiful Japanese Sakura flower gift box to take home your beautifully restored Kintsugi pieces. 6) Gold stands are available at $5/each. If you are celebrating a special occasion, we can order a cake/flowers for you at an additional $80 each. Do inform us at least 3 days in advance. Your finished Kintsugi piece requires 24 hrs to dry up. After 24 hours, it is 1) Non-toxic and food safe. Can be used for any type of drinks and food. Please note that prolonged use of your kintsugi ceramic in high heat may dissolve the surface glue but it will still be intact and usable. Not for use on a stove. 2) Microwave safe. 3) Handwash and Top Rack Dishwasher Safe. Please note : 1) You can bring your own ceramics to mend during the workshop but do ensure they have not been broken into more than 5 pieces in the interest of time. 2) Cancellation of a prebooked session isn't allowed. But you can reschedule once within 6 mths or gift your workshop to others. 3) If you are booking for one pax, kindly join a session with others.
