What is Kintsugi?
Kintsugi is Japan's ancient art of celebrating broken pottery. It is rooted in an eastern philosophy of finding beauty in imperfections. Many believe it can help us to accept our flaws and foster a sense of peace and fulfillment.

THE ART OF HEALING WITH KINTSUGI
Broken made Beautiful
Kintsugi is built on the idea that in embracing the broken pottery pieces’ flaws and imperfections, you can create an even stronger, more beautiful piece of art.
Using this art as a metaphor for healing ourselves teaches us an important lesson – that sometimes in the process of repairing ourselves through our flaws and imperfections, we create an even more beautiful stronger, resilient us. We may be BROKEN yet BEAUTIFUL!
In an age of mass production and quick disposal, learning to accept and celebrate scars and flaws and to not throw away things that break is also a powerful lesson in sustainability.
Kintsugi Art Studio was born out of a passion to teach this beautiful meaningful art to everyone.
Join us in this journey of self discovery and healing.
What Our Students Say
Testimonials from our students
Such a sanctuary. Felt so welcome by Nilo the moment we stepped in, and it was an afternoon well spent. Not only the philosophy is beautiful, the process of kintsugi is also therapeutic. The best part of it is that we get to spend some time having a conversation with one another about life, imperfection, and resilience. A great bonding time with friends!
