Our Japanese Matcha Tea workshop is not just about making tea. It’s about creating a space that’s apart from the worldly concerns and drawing you fully into the moment. This cultural experience is not only a good learning opportunity but also a chance to immerse yourself in the rich traditions of Japan. Price includes Haori ( Japanese Jackets) Rental. Haoris are available for men and women. What is included in your 45min - 1 hr Japanese Chado Tea Ceremony : 1) Introduction and History of tea in Japan and its origins 2) The 4 principles of Japanese Green Tea 3) Short Meditation 4) Enjoying Japanese confectioneries 5) Purification of the bowl. 6) Preparation and Savoring Japanese Green Tea. 7) Reflections on the experience. Please note that I need a minimum of 2 pax for weekdays and 5pax for weekends to conduct a session. Photos and videos may be taken during your session for our promotional purposes on social media/ website and other platforms. If you would prefer not to be photographed or videoed, please let us know. $125 per pax. Options to buy matcha tea and tea sets are available in our studio.
